My clinical supervision services adhere strictly to the standards set by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I meet CRPO’s criteria. Clinicians attendees are expected to be familiar with the CRPO supervision tool, supervision criteria, and supervision records checklist. I provide supervision exclusively to fully licensed and academically qualified clinicians and do not offer individual or dyadic supervision to students who have not yet completed their practicum training.
With over 30 years of experience working within first responder communities—including police, fire, EMS, corrections, and healthcare—I bring a deep, culturally informed understanding of their unique stressors and trauma. My approach integrates evidence-based trauma treatment with culturally competent supervision to help therapists develop the specialized skills needed to serve this population. I aim to make supervision a transformative process, equipping clinicians with the tools and insight to provide exceptional care while sustaining their own professional well-being.

Why choose specialized clinical supervision for first responder cases?
First responders face unique mental health challenges shaped by trauma exposure, operational stress, and workplace culture. Traditional therapeutic approaches don’t always align with the mindset and lived experience of the first responders. What helps? Understanding the cultural aspects of a first responder’s occupation.
